Layered Foundry — Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Layered Foundry, we take pride in producing high-quality 3D-printed collectibles. Please review the following policies before placing your order.

1. Print to Order (PRE) Products

PRE products are manufactured specifically in response to a customer's order. Each model requires production time, materials, equipment resources, and, where applicable, assembly and finishing.

Payment: Full payment is collected at checkout.

Production Time: Estimated production lead time is approximately 14 calendar days before shipment. Production times may vary depending on model complexity and our current production queue. Shipping transit time is additional.

2. Order Cancellations

Before Production Begins

Customers may cancel their PRE order for a full refund before production begins.

After Production Begins

Once production has started, cancellations may be subject to a charge of up to 50% of the product's purchase price to recover reasonable, documented, non-recoverable production expenses.

These expenses may include materials consumed, printing time, assembly labor, and other resources committed specifically to the order.

The amount retained will be based on expenses incurred, not an automatic 50% penalty, and will comply with applicable law.

Any remaining refundable balance, including unused shipping charges and applicable taxes, will be returned to the original payment method.

3. Returns After Delivery

Because PRE products are manufactured to order, returns for a change of mind are generally not accepted once an item has shipped.

This restriction does not apply to damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially misrepresented products, or where returns or refunds are otherwise required by law.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us promptly at layeredfoundry@gmail.com.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs of the item and packaging when available.

We will review the issue and work toward an appropriate resolution, including repair, replacement, or refund as required by applicable law.

5. Production Delays or Inability to Fulfill

If Layered Foundry cannot fulfill an order within the promised shipping timeframe, we will notify the customer and offer an updated shipping date or applicable cancellation and full-refund rights.

Customers will not be charged a production cancellation fee when a full refund is required because Layered Foundry cannot fulfill its obligations.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. The time required for the funds to appear depends on the payment provider and financial institution.
